AKBelles sent me a couple more quilts for LAQ. I love working on her quilts....we even won some ribbons ..YAY!

This one is a sampler that is going to be her new living room quilt....doesn't it just say "Cozy" I love this! I love the pieced back as well..it's two quilts in one.

Again I just wanted to go in and make each block unique but
keep enough designs the same so that they all go together.
I wanted the border to have that old fashioned look...so I quilted loose kind of plaid in the border..which screams comfort to me.
    Very nice quilt..great piecing.

I used hobbs poly down batting. I quilted this freehand on my 26 innova.
    Thanks for looking.

The feathers are so nice and plump and wavy, and I love the 'plaid' effect, and the way you treated the different parts of each sample block.
The quilt is beautiful - love the stars in the sashing!

AKBelles - you are one superior quilter. The color choices are fabulous and your piecing is too. Charismah - you did your magic again.

P.S. the back is beautiful also.

Love the sampler quilts. The owners must appreciate your taking the time to 'quilt' the blocks instead of performing an all over pattern to the entire quilt, I know I would.
