    Default LQS HST exchange quilt

This quilt is only 60 x 60 because only two of us showed up on exchange day. I decided to use it to experiment with FMQ. It's not great, but getting better.

I also read recently on the board of some folks not ironing their binding in half before sewing it on, so I tried that too. It's a time saver (and finger saver) just because of the ironing. It went on at least as well as it does when ironed. My miters even seemed better. I'll try it again one day. In fact, I may just be done ironing binding.

Beautiful, love all the colors you used. Black really sets it off. Great quilting. I still iron binding, it is easier to deal with, just me.
