Beautiful quilt. Just curious...how much time do you typically spend at a sitting hand quilting?

My husband says until my fingers bleed, but usually an hour or so. I like to move around, get outside and enjoy the many things the day brings.

You must have been handquilting for a long time. That is so perfectly beautiful. Lovely quilt beautiful quilting. I think one day I have to try it. I am sure I would end up with tons of little finger drops of blood on the darned thing. Maybe a nice chocolate and red quilt to cover those smudges for me?

Beautiful!! I made this same quilt a couple of years ago. It was for a cousin who was going through a very difficult health issue. I wanted her to have something that would bring her comfort and let her know that her family was thinking of her and praying for her. In the middle of the stars I had different family members write notes of encouragement. It did bring her great comfort and she is doing great now.
