Thread: LWR Quilt Top (7 of 12)

    My goal for 2008 is to piece 12 quilt tops for Lutheran World Relief. Here is #7 I finished today. Fabric is donated to our church and we have a group of quilters that meets to tie the tops and then the tops are taken home for the bindings. Another church donated boxes and boxes of 5.5" squares that we are combining with larger pieces of donated fabric.

    Wow, that is very very pretty, and i love that all the fabric is donated, and you all work on it together, that sounds like a really great group of people :)

    No, I really haven't heard much about the problem, just that they recommend keeping the quilts simple . . . not sending gorgeous works of art . . . because that's what could happen to them.
