    Machine Cover

I finished this machine cover for my Janome MC15000 tonight. This fabric was originally intended for a wall quilt but instead I used the quilt pattern design with a little modification for the machine cover. The machine cover will be more useful than the quilt that I have no where to hang. Fabric and quilt pattern by the same name"Sew Much Love", the date on the fabric is 2008 but I am sure I have not had it quite that long.

how perfectly pretty!! i am looking at your pics here, then over at my janome with the towel covering it -pretty kitty theme towel , but still just a towel. so ..i guess i'll get to work and make a quilted cover for it. i have a cover for the phaff i made from amish print years ago ..poor neglected little (big ) janome!

as with everything you make, it's beautiful. I've yet to make one. Maybe this year. Love the fabric too.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

That fabric was meant to "dress" your machine. Nice work.

There is a panel with the just the fabric pictures on and co-ordinating fabrics. The fabric name is Sew Much Love by Diane Knott for Clothworks. I seem to recall seeing 2008 somewhere, and I have had the fabric for quite a time. The measurements on the quit pattern were fine with just a little bit of modifying for it to become the machine cover. I believe that this pattern was a free one from Clothworks but it is no longer available so I have attached it here.

I have had the fabric for quite a time and I can't remember exactly where I purchased it from. I know that it is now out of date but you may be fortunate to find it on E-bay or elsewhere on the internet.

I did have a pattern for a quilt that I used with some modifications to make it the machine cover. See #21
