    A friend asked me to put together these machine embroidery blocks her mother had done in a class 18 years ago. I pieced the quilt together as she had set the blocks out - unpicked and resewed a few of the blocks to get it just right.

    I then put a backing on and STD and anchored every other block with straight sewing. It was so heavy and big to manoeuvre under my sewing machine but it turned out really well. (Had to have a massage afterwards as it almost wrecked my left shoulder and upper back).
