Machine pieced cathedral window pillow--it's bright!

Time for your sunglasses. I made this pillow for my niece Julia's Christmas gift this year. She really likes bright colours. So I used Kona solids: Pomegranate, Turquoise, and Papaya.

It isn't perfect, but for a first time trying this method of piecing a cathedral window, I'm happy with it. Hope she likes it too. It's made with 3.5" squares sewn together on the machine and then I hand sewed in the 'windows', although they could probably be machine stitched too.

i think it is fun, and wonderful, so bright and warming on a cold day, i always wanted to make one, i still cannot figure out the directions, dunce i guess, could be my limited patience too, but i think it will be stunning, send photos when finished, it is inspiration of the best sortl

makes me feel like i said a dunce, i did not read the whole post and thought it was to be a full quilt, it is great, can you tell me what size square you started with, i am math challenged, and the one of my dreams, i hope will not take two thousand, lol, i was thinking of big ones, with ribbons, or charms or something in the middle, for hanging, not using, sorry
