it is for a Kitchen exchange..we made 2 items for a person drawn to exchange with.
her kitchen is black.white with sunflowers as accents..
i found this fabric with the sunflowers and chickens and shicken wire at Joanns last week.
i am the only quilter/sewer in the group..the rest are knitters and crocheters!

i don't even sew much, this is the second thing i have made that wasn't quilting. Kim

That is really nice. Did you use a pattern and if you did, where did you find the pattern.

I like it... I've always wanted a casserole carrier... I'd need a large round, medium round and small round. as well as a super large (17") rectangle one :D

Your casserole carrier is great. The sunflowers are so cheerful, here at Spring time. I have some of the Chicken/Rooster fabric...you've given me an idea. Thanks.

    Kim,
That casserole carrier is a great idea! Yours turned out too cute! I am sure that your friend will really like it especially that you made it to match her kitchen.
These would make nice gifts for so many occasions too!
