Default Maine Quilt

My friend found this quilt at the local "dump" store. It's a bit tattered around the edges and top edge. It's been well used.
Just wondering if this is a pattern or someone's creation? The fabric is from the 80's.
Any comments are welcome!
Thank you
Erin

Is that all applique? and if so is it all turned applique or raw edge? Would love to see some closeups. This looks like a real treasure.

What a lovely quilt - I'm so glad you found it! I can just see it hanging in a Maine bed & breakfast or at an historical society.

It's sad that no one valued it. I would put a new binding on it and repair any spots that need it.

This looks like a pattern from "Piecemakers" of Costa Mesa, California. Anytime I come across one of their Calendar patterns in a thrift store, I buy it for my "somedays". I have not seen this pattern. I would contact piecemakers.com and send the post you have left here. They may be interested in it. You would expect to see a label or signature on something so exquisitely done.

That quilt took a lot of work. Can't imagine why someone just give it away.
