    I would lay it out like this as well but appliqué three circles in the white squares. Or four whatever looks good. I like the circles.

    I think the circles take away from the beauty of the quilt, but I know that's just my opinion. That and $1 will get you a sweet tea at Mickey D's!!

    Could you applique a simple flower in the white spaces? Maybe using the chimney fabric from your log cabins ? Or maybe just a small square of the yellow print, set on point?

    Way too much white for me. Btu the colors in the log cabins are wonderful
