    Making New friends....quilted by Charisma

KP sent this to me...and I was so exited.
She requested pumpkins in the orange border..but let me do whatever else I wanted.
I was excited cause I had freehand quilted these pumpkins.....I actually practiced these two years ago when I got my first long arm, I was patiently waiting for the perfect pumpkin quilt to arrive.....YAY!

I also used my loricle templates to quilt the top portion of the center panel...I used my clam shell board. It compliments it very nicely. Very easy to use. I find that I use my boards more as a custom design ratehr than an all over design lately...LOVE THEM!

I also quilted some leaves, swirls..and a feathery oak leaf.....so much FUN! Fall is just around the corner..I can already taste the apple cider! I live in apple country ...don't you know!

    Thanks so much for looking!

This is adorable and as usual, you always amaze me with your talents. I hope that someday I am at least a tenth as good as you are. You are so very gifted!

I love that each border has its own "quilted identity". That detail really is a notch above ! Well done .

    Adorable quilt!

Charismah, I can not believe you have only been long arming for 2 years you do such beautiful work! My sister and I just bought a long arm together and will get it in a couple of weeks. (We are in our 60's and have wondered if I have enough time left to get good. haha)
I always love seeing your work.
