Default making a quilt for me

I have not had a quilt since we sold our house and all its contents, but now that I am settled, I wanted to make a quilt for me. The small-piece Log Cabin is one we have made dozens of times, the pieces start out 1" wide. All colors are used. I had a bunch of 4 x 4 small tops already put together, so I sewed 16 of them together. Here it is laid out on the floor, have to sew the seams the other way, maybe on my next day off.

Hope I will get it quilted before the cold weather comes! First I have to finish an afghan I am making, then finish quilting a WIP I picked up at a yard sale.

Good for you for making a quilt for yourself! It's gorgeous and I'm sure you'll have lots of snuggly night under it.
