    Maki's Flowers....quilted by Charisma

Maki Loves Purple and her mom made this quilt for her birthday gift. She asked if I could quilt in a way to bring out more purple. So I quilted with a very light green color in all the areas except the snowball blocks..then went back and quilted the sprial flowers with a purple trhead to compliment the pruple already in the quilt. It turned out wonderful. I know Maki will treasure this for years to come!
    Thanks for looking!

As usual, awesome job by both piecer and quilter. Is that little swirly motif you did in the green triangles of the 54-40 or Fight blocks a new motif or is it a variation on the ever so popular Charismah Curls?

What a pretty quilt. Maki will love it. I really like the way she did the 9 patchs between the snowballs, very clever. Your quilting really completes the quilt. Great job ladies.

So pretty! Love your flowers, they are so cheerful. I am always impressed at how perfectly your quilting sets off the piecing. It's a gift, Charisma, and you have it.

Did you freehand those spiral flowers?!!! What exceptional coordination you have, to go with your artistry!

Well done to quilter and piecer both. I love purple and green together.

Yep! It's all freehand. No marking or anything. I did actually draw the first two on with a purple pen before I stitched so I could make sure it would look nice..then I erased it and started quilting them. Thanks so much!
