I love cat quilts and yours is beautiful. I think it is a wonderful thing you did to honor the hard work of those two ladies. I'm always amazed at how cavalier people are with animals, it's horrible to just dump a cat or dog. I once heard a story about a Rottweiler or Pit Bull dog that was left tied up with a bag of dog food in a fairly deserted area of town. Fortunately, he was found, and went to a very good home where he was loved and learned to trust humans again.
