    thanks everyone === and to answer a couple questions---
    'are you keeping it?'
    no---it was a special request from a dear friend who had just ordered new furniture for the 'man-cave'---they did not want sports stuff & are not hunters---but it's for the cabin in the woods---my (attempt) to make an out-doorsy - sunset quilt

    'did you use a pattern?'
    no--- i gathered up a basket of scraps- old panal pieces- what ever caught my eye---- & started cutting- laying out on the floor- constructing blocks---working more on trying to get it a certain size---so if a piece i wanted to add was not the right size- added or subtracted to make it fit...
    the 2 rows of actual pieced blocks are disappearing 9-patches- just turned in a way that is not always seen.
    layed on floor- adding to it til it all came together.
    i am soooo in love with the backing! i want to figure out a new quilt that really uses some of that---have a couple strips leftover for my next scrappy
