What a great idea to use that box/drawer full of ribbons! The colors are great, too, and I like how you arranged them. Congrats to your daughter for being such an accomplished competitor!

At a recent retreat, I watched as a mom made a wall hanging from her sons Scout memorabilia It was remarkable. This takes the cake. As the local 4-H lady, you bet I'll be sharing this wonderful idea, and brag about the well done job.

What a great idea! I've thrown away more ribbons that I can count...this would have been a much better use....I know she loves it...

I agree--it is fabulous. Ribbons tend to get scattered and lost and this way they will be special for a lot of years to come. Great idea.

She will cherish that quilt all her life. The hours it took you to make, and the days and years it took her to win those ribbons. What a tribute to the both of you.

ok that is so cool...I did a t-shirt quilt for my son and haven't done a border...I may have to "borrow" your ribbon idea and do that for the border....how cool!
