    very nicely done... from the title, i assumed [oops] that you alternated maple leaves with log cabins. i would never have thought to use the ML as the center of the LC. great pattern.

    Thats funny, I spent a lot of time trying to decide on a lay out. Alternating maple leaves with a full log cabin was high on the list!

    Very nicely done, love the colors! I'm planning to do one of these, but will probably applique the leaves rather than piece them.

    Very pretty! I think I have this pattern (in an unnamed quilt magazine because I can't remember which one!). I have this one earmarked to make too, and yours is lovely. Thanks for sharing
