    Default Margie's Cheater Quilt

I have had so much fun with an old cheater quilt we found in my sister's closet. I quilted a different pattern in the middle of each flower and outlined and echoed the rest. I love how it turned out and am kinda sad that I'll have to give it back to my sister!

Stunning. Maybe you could share it! It is superb. You would never know it was a cheater cloth, not that that matters. It is fabulous.

Shhh don't tell, but I like the back better than the front! This turned out wonderful and you made a cheater panel a wonderful work of art.

why would you place such a Negative term on such a beautiful quilt? i see nothing 'cheating' about it---it always saddens me when people use such a horrible term...I've made many beautiful wonderful quilts using panals and designer fabrics---they always took thought, work, materials, time....there was certainly nothing 'cheating' about it...i so wish that word would go away!
the quilt is beautiful! not a thing of negativity---cheating---at all

Linda, that has to be one of the prettiest cheater fabrics I have ever seen. And now that it is quilted, I would not even consider it a cheater fabric, more like a canvas for you to create on. Very nice.
