Wow!! I have to say that when I saw the fabric I thought it was ... well ... ugly. but WOW!! You've made a silk purse out of a sows ear!!

Ck I agree with you! I dislike the word cheater as well, makes it sound like your doing something wrong by using it. Now on to the quilt. It is nothing sort of stunning! If I could of guessed a whole piece of yardage could of come out looking like that, I would of had my antenna's out looking for just the right piece to have quilted. Your work is amazing and I sure wouldn't want to give it up either. Maybe you can flip a coin for it. If you lose you've lost nothing but if you win well just lets say you'd be truly blessed. Great Job both of you!
