I love both of the blocks and paper piecing gives you those beautiful points. Wish I could do this but I have not had any luck. I will have to keep trying.
    Thanks for sharing.

The club you joined, is it an internet club? I might be interested in that. Crafty has a PP online course you can take. I am taking it. PP always confused me too but this teacher shows you in such a way that you don't understand how you missed the first time someone tried to show you.

Very pretty blocks and they have great contrast. Yes, paper piecing is lots of fun!
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

I started paper piecing before I heard that it is supposed to be difficult - wouldn't dare try certain designs the old fashioned way, when my points come out so great on paper! Your MCs are great, keep up the good work, PPing can be addictive when the results are so spectacular!

I pieced a Mariner's Compass block earlier this Spring. I realized if I took my time, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Your blocks are beautiful!

Me neither. I love the results you can get from PP but not doing it.....like you, I took a class and did it in class and never again. Something about that reversing thing, I just can't wrap my brain around it.

yes, pp can be frustrating, but once it clicks in, it does make beautiful blocks. I think I got the most help from watching dvd of Doak......really made sense to me then, before that it was confusing. I do find when I do pp, I have to really clear my mind of regular piecing steps.....and the first few pieces are usually done quite slowly, then the veil lifts and the rest goes well..certainly has helped us make some really tricky blocks a lot easier to before..

I sure like the blue centered one, both are pretty but that one is the one I like best. Thanks for sharing.
