This is the one I started last week, it's been a real bugger. I went to Toronto this past weekend so I had about 10 hours in the car to do my binding by hand, I think this is the first and last time I ever bind by hand. YUCK!!!
So anyway, I still have to make the pillow case, but I think I'm just going to do something simple. I'm sick of working on it and I have other projects piling up, lol.

yes, for a 90th birthday. It's for my FIL's mother, who't turning 90 next week, and she's just recently been placed in a home. She doesn't have many of her belongings from her house with her, and none of her bedding fits in her new room so this was created using the colours she had in her old room, you know, a little familiarity.

I quilted this myself on my sewing machine. It's a real pain because I have a conventional machine, quilting a big quilt is HARD!

It looks wonderful. I like the colors. Choosing colors that are familiar to her was a great idea.

...started LAST WEEK??? It's awesome! And what a treasure! I just hope you're getting up and stretching from time to time. You know how those cute little feet of yours will begin to swell if you sit too long at a time. From one old mommie to one young mommy. Take care of yourself.
