I really want a pieced border for this but I don't have time!! :( Gotta get it finished and in the mail.
I drafted this compass on my autocad program. It took twice as long to draft as it did to cut and piece! LOL - the compass is 36" in diameter. I have it all pieced and pinned to the background and hope to get it appliqued tonight.
THe background is a warmer beige than it appears in the photo, and the green is more olive.

Cathe, I love your Mariner's Compass. It's wonderful.
Now, I have to tell you how I've been playing with your pic.
Center the picture in the middle of the screen. Then scroll up and down on it at various speeds and watch the animation. Too much fun here! :mrgreen:
