Default Mariposas - quilted tote bag featuring cross stitch

I recently cross stitched these butterflies (best way to pass the time during unbearably long flights and airport transits). I thought I would marry it with my other favourite hobby of quilting. Other side of tote is pieced and quilted.
- based on pattern Charming Totes 4 by Whistlepig Creek Productions
- cross stitch is an inexpensive kit picked up Walmart for $7 (providing many hours of diversion)

What a wonderful piece, the fabrics are wonderful and your piecing is perfect. The butterflies are over the top! Love them. Thank you.

That is beautiful. I imagine strangers will stop you to ask where you got it.

Very clever of you to make this lovely tote...the butterflies seem to be hovering over the background.
