If you Google "Free tote bag patterns" you will get gobs of them. Also you might want to check out this site:
http://pursepatterns.com/. You can narrow your search by typing in "grocery tote", "diaper bag", etc.

I got it at Hancock Fabric. You can also google Robert Kaufman.
