It is 100% cotton but lower quality. It certinly isn't quilt store material and I am super delicate with it so as not to stretch it.
It is $2.97 a yard and the price reflects the quality.
But it is do' able, my fabric budget is slim so I have to work with what I'm given- sometimes that means cheap!

I do not know if you can by any material for aenathan online. sorry. But call around to all local walmarts to see if anyone carrys it.

Went to Walmart this afternoon and they had the fabric and also the free pattern. I didn't get the backing though. Pattern calls for 8 5/8 yds of fabric. Being the nice/thoughtful person I am (ha), I didn't buy up all the black fabric, which I would have liked for the back, but wanted to save it for others. I'll find some other black/white/yellow when I'm ready. That's lots of fabric for the backing, but it's a big quilt; I think 102 x 102, if I remember correctly. Thanks for posting, glad to have picked it up and I didn't have to look and look for fabrics. I asked the saleslady if they had it and it was right behind the cutting table against the wall all together. Glad to find they have bom patterns. I think I will do more of this shopping.

I have checked with AEnathan and they only sell to Retail stores. However you can download the BOM patterns on their web site. I have these patterns from 2004 til now, only missing 1 pattern. These bolts of fabric are kept together on a shelf not on the wall at Wal Mart. I have bought and made several of these.

    nope, my Walmart has material!
I so wish Walmart continued to carry fabric everywhere. We only have Joann's here, so I have to buy most of my fabric online now. Of course, car trips are good with stops at quilt shops too! ;-)

I fell in love with this also, and since I am in Utah this week I went to Walmart(where they still have fabric in their stores) to treat myself to the fabric and pattern. I went to FOUR stores, and none had it! One store had the patriotic BOM, one store had a young man cutting fabric, and he said he thought that it was last month's BOM. I am sad....but happy for those of you who will be able to make this!
