I love Rupert! He has attitude! I think you should quilt him, even if he is going to be framed.

love your rooster. Can I have name of pattern? I have done several roosters and always interested in a new pattern. I DID A whole lap sized quilt in appliqued roosters.

Rupert is a Florine Johnson design. It can be ordered from Stitch-N-Frame or direct from Florine.

He is wonderful. Have you thought about using one side of each of his feathers as a stem and put feathers on him. I wouldn't rush into the quilting. He is so special. I am sure you will get lots of ideas here.
