    This is exquisite in design and execution. I can see why you waited to quilt it, I too would want to make sure my skills for quilting were up to par for this beautiful piece. You did a wonderful job and I am glad you finally completed it and shared it with us. Is it fabric painted? Is that how you got the remarkable shading?
