What a wonderful quilt you made for your grandson. Your post made me so sad. I'm sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss...losing a child at any age is difficult. My husband of 62 years passed away almost 2 years ago and it is a long process to recover and we never do we just learn to move on as best we can. Your quilt is terrific and will be so meaningful for your grandson and he will feel his Dad's love as he sleeps under it. God Bless you.

I’m sure your grandson will treasure his memory quilt and I hope it will provide comfort and fond memories of his father. Losing a child has got to be the hardest thing for any parent...my DH has lot two of his sons at ages 36 and 43.
I am so sorry for your family’s loss...

Your loss is beyond my comprehension. I think your memory quilt is wonderful. I have never seen one like it. Elizabeth Hartman's animals are so whimsical. Your grandson will treasure this quilt on many levels throughout his life. It is tangible to him and your love for him in making it will be a part of him forever.
