    Wow you did such a wonderful job incorporating both grandma's clothes and it being for a young child. It looks expertly done and is just adorable.

    That is an awesome quilt. You did a wonderful job...so creative and CUTE appliques! Wow! Me and another lady are making a memory quilt for a woman from our church using her hubby's shirts. They loved to go visit their sons in Hawaii and he had several hawaiian shirts. We're using that fabric to applique pinepples onto blocks and also for sashing around each block. He had several denim type shirts (a couple with embroidery work) that will be used for backing. I plan to add some of the pockets on the back so she can put special items in them...

    Love your appliques-what a great idea-we just lost our Nana and I was thinking about how I could maybe make memory quilts for her grandkids. Thanks and God bless
