I finally finished!! This is a quilt/wallhanging in honor of my Mother's family. It has her parents and all the siblings under it. It will travel with our bi-annual famiy reunions!! We found pictures of the entire family "except" for my Grandmother. According to my mother in-law my grandmother forbid anyone of take her photograph...she thought the camera was a sign of the devil...LOL

The tree labels have the Name, Date of birth and date of deatch

What a wonderful tribute. I love the way you have displayed the photos. Is the printing under the photo's a little bit about the person?

Awesome!!!!!! As my family's unofficial historian, I feel challenged! Where did you find the tree? I would love to attempt something like this.

What a wonderful family tree quilt. I love the way you included bios for each family member. That is going to be a family heirloom. Thanks for sharing.

I love that - what a great way to remember your ancestry - that is definetly a family heirloom - 100 yrs from now - your family members will look back and know where they came from. What an inspiration.

That is something that will be cherished for ever, I know what a lot of work that was putting that all together and I am sure your family will love it as well as everyone wanting one, but none of them know just how much work you put into it, great job. Between all the Genealogy, pictures and hand work went a loving job that is.
