How lovely. Wonderful tribute for your husband. May it bring your joy and happy memories.

I love your design, too. Very similar to 2 t-shirt/memory quilts I'm about to make for my niece and nephew in memory of their dad (my brother.) I'm so glad to see your design - it shows me my idea is going to work.

    Blessings!

You have made a beautiful memory quilt to comfort you and those that loved him. I love these shadow blocks anyway but the name sure fits this project. Hubby's Shadow....

Has to be so nice to wrap up in memories! I like your pattern and color choices! My husband passed last year and my step-son took all of his clothes, I’m not sure why. After 20 years I have many memories, sewing is wonderful therapy!

So sorry you lost your husband. That can't be easy. You made a beautiful quilt with those shirts. I'll have to remember to use the shadow quilt pattern for a memory quilt. Now you can wrap up in it and get one of his hugs.

molly, that is a great quilt! I'm sure it took many many hours.
You should be very proud of that! =)
    Sending blessings your way...

If you don't mind sharing....what size are your finished blocks?
I'm assuming the block is the shirt, the shadow and the two white corner squares.
Then put together with white sashing as well.

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments. NT66, The squares are 5 inches and all the white and dark strips are 1 inch., finished measurements. Jenny Doan at MSQC has a wonderful tutorial for this quilt called "Illusions"
