Default Memory quilts

I've made my practice quilt...made from men's dress shirts. Not one is 100% cotton and it worked okay...the 100% poly was a challenge, but worked out okay. I am happy with the outcome! This one was my practice quilt and I will be giving it to our neighbor (hard working farmer)across the road from us. I found out his birthday is in September and he will be 65 years old. He doesn't have any family that live near, so I think he will enjoy a picnic gathering....and a birthday gift too. He his planning on having knee replacement after the harvest season, so this will keep him warm and know that the neighbors are people he can call if needed.

Great looking quilt, Teri. Very masculine. What a kind thing to do for your neighbor.

Super. Love it. What is the pattern, please? How nice of you to do this for your neighbor. I am sure that he will be very touched. BrendaK

You made a beautiful quilt from your great variety of shirts! So nice of you to do this for your neighbor. I'm sure it will be much appreciated during recuperation and for years after! Great job!
