HaHa! When he opened it, it informed me that this quilt was for Christmas 2011, NOT 2012 so I had better not think I was going to short him this coming Christmas!!!

Some people like doing the same thing. They are comfortable. Others like you and I can do one happily and then we are satisfied when we see what it looks like. It takes all kinds to make up the quilting world, thankfully. Your quilt is just as cute as can be. I'm glad it is going to someone who will appreciate it.

I have had these blocks for over a year now and didn't know what to do with them. Thanks for the inspiration. The only quilt I have seen done had black sashing and wasn't very Chrismasy. Sounds like Tim is addicted to quilting. Good for him, it's a great pastime. Thank you both for sharing.

I think you lucked out in choice of friends! lol The quilt is fantastic and I'm sure Tim will enjoy it this year just as well!
