I just pulled out my Quick Curve Ruler to make the pineapple block (pineapple the fruit, not pineapple the quilt block name). The videos really help though I don't know if I'll ever be that quick sewing a curve.

Your Metro Medallion turned out great! I love the colors you chose. That is definitely one on my list of patterns to try.
