That turned out just GREAT!!! You are so very talented. I hope I can get good someday..GREAT Quilt. I am sure he loves it.

He couldn't get any words out :). I had made a big show about how busy I was and how I felt so bad that I couldn't make him a quilt and how I promised by next Christmas he would have a quilt (which was true, since I promised that on 12/23, he just thought it was a year away, lol).

I had also put a phone book on top of the quilt to weigh the box down so he wouldn't get any ideas. And then told him shaking it would give it away (which it wouldn't) so that when he did shake it, it threw him off the scent even more :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Looks worse than it is. Toughest part was figuring out how to break up a solid patch of color to make everything fit. Thankfully I'm good at thinking along the lines of 'if I do this, then I need this to be cut here, making this cut here' etc
