Default Michigan Pixel Quilt Finish

Here is my latest finish. This is a Michigan pixel quilt using a pattern I bought on Etsy.

This quilt is a gift for my niece’s birthday. I put the heart approximately where she lives. It was a fun make and easy to assemble. I quilted it on my domestic machine using a serpentine stitch. I love the results and it is something I can do at home. If I could make it again, I would choose darker blues. When I was shopping for the fabric, I couldn’t find many blues I actually liked.

Thanks for looking!

Since I live in Michigan of course I just love it. It is great living in the state that all you have to do is put your hand up and point and you can show someone where you live. This is a quilt I would consider making if only to put a single red piece to designate right where I live. Nice Job!

Very pretty and what a great and creative way to make it more personal with the heart.
