    I would like to learn paper piecing. Is it Hard? Dumb question right.

    no its not hard but laying down that first piece is a bit of a struggle for some people.

    the real plus side to paper piecing is once you get the grasp of it you can paper piece any block under the sun unlike traditional piecing where you continually have to learn different methods.

    here is a link to a very popular tute on paper piecing. its for a very simple jane block and is a good jumping off point.

    Did you get a chance to make a mini triangle? How did it come out?

    yes, this is mini BR1 its 2.5 inches wide by 4 inches tall.

    and here's a pic next to a traditional size jane triangle of 5x8 inches

    BR1 at 2.5 inches wide by 4.0 inches tall finished

    You're a legend! Is there anything you can't do?!? LOL ;-)

    There's going to be some bits in the mini where the seam allowance is bigger than the actual bit showing!

    i know, i printed out I9 yesterday and i was just shaking my head.

    i'm not to worried about the paper piecing blocks since the paper helps to hold everything in place until its done.

    i'm gonna kick myself when i do the applique blocks.

    i hope to catch up with the mini jane blocks so i can keep it in line with the standard size jane that i'm doing.

    i'd like to finish them both around the same time since they will be exactly alike except for size.
