    Ooooh!! I like that idea!!! If I do it (and I probably will), it will by my first scalloped border. It will go along with other *firsts* in this quilt - first lone star, first mosaic border, first border entirely of 1/4" finished pieces, and first mitered symmetrical patterned fabric. Have a few other firsts planned for the quilting too

    Brilliant stuff. That border is excellent. I have used lace on my Avatar log cabin which is small. I love the effect you created.

    That is amazing. It's beautiful and that border fabric is perfect for it. It amazes me when people piece using such tiny blocks. Thanks for sharing pictures of your beautifully done quilt.
