I can see why a weak minded person might steal this. It's absolutely gorgeous.

People will steal anything - our son went to Bible College and I told him right off the bat - just because people are in Bible College doesn't mean they won't steal or cheat and lie... sure enough one guy got his computer stolen...

I sent up a prayer to the missing quilt fairy that yours would be found and returned to you. Good Luck. It is a beautiful piece.

Oh my gosh. It's so beautiful. How could someone "inadvertently" take something like this.

That is a really nice quilt and I truly hope you do get it back and the thief gets caught. Quite sad that someone has stolen it.

Wow!! That is terrible. I hope you find it and the person who walked off with it. How dispicable.

I would be heart broken. I hope somebody sees it.

I left a bag on a plane in 2001 with a lap quilt that needed mending - I originally gave it to my DD for Christmas in 1987; a queen size watercolor top with a heart that was to be a wedding gift; a small finished landscape wall quilt and my small tote of quilting do-hickies. I changed airplanes mid-trip, and didn't realize I had left the bag on the plane until I got to my final destination. Delta IMMEDIATELY checked that plane, and the bag was not on it. Someone must have found it, looked inside it, and decided it was theirs. I posted pictures several times, but no one has reported seeing either of the big quilts - I didn't have a picture of the landscape one.

Jaw drop - OMG Roberta I can't believe someone stole another quilters quilt! I'm really stunned and feel very badly for you. I would be devastated. Hugs
