This is one beautiful and sharp quilt. Love it. I agree with you. Each quilt I've made for my 7 grandchildren also contain mistakes because I want them to know that we human's make mistakes but we can make them work out by being determined and persistent. Of course the children don't notice the mistakes until I point them out to them and then they are amazed that in the overall scheme of the quilt, the mistakes aren't that noticable until they were pointed out. It's a good learning tool and setting a good example for them. My Mother was a perfectionist and about drove herself crazy with it. I'm all for striving for perfection but some of us just can't achieve it all the time and we have to take steps to get there and it's fine and wise to show this process to others.

after i posted this, then i realized it was just the top. and it hadn't been finished. sorry. i have to take pictures quick, when i'm in the picture taking mood. usually have several, several projects going at the same time. and then i get busy and finish them, and send them off, and don't get the 'final' projects photogra. sometimes. on the next visit sometimes, then i get a picture of it. sorry.

my grandson called me last nite and said he was taking his quilt to school for show and tell. it is going to be 'sharing hobbies' day, and he was taking it along with his 'quarter collection'.
