My wonderful friend knitted an oversized mitten for me and put the book inside, as a gift to a new grandma.(me). It's one of my most prized Christmas decorations! Your quilt beautiful and will be so loved!

Jan Brett's art is wonderful! I would use the face fabric on the front (of course!) and then maybe terry cloth or some kind of fleece/flannel for the backing. No batting for me on bibs...just personal preferences. The quilt is wonderful.

just hand sewing the binding, turns out the fabric is a little stiff and water resistant, perfect for a bib front, wipe a ble is that a word?

I've also thought of just flannel fabric for batting?
