    Thankyou mimee4 - that is a good point you make there. I guess the reason I put it up for comment was that in my head I kept thinking "Is it finished yet, or should there be more to it?".

    I love it! BUT - I can see what you mean abou the gold 'floating' it does seem to end sharply - so what abou tsewing a scattering of gold beads on the ends of the embroidery to blur them a little??

    Just a thought?

    Personally I'd bind it now, before adding more. If you get the binding color and fabric right, it may ground the floaty golden bit. If not you can still add more later.

    Thanks for all the wonderful comments, it really helps to see something through another's eyes. When you make something one is so 'close' to it that can be hard to see it in reality. I do appreciate the feedback very much! I want to make a series of these so I will keep your comments in mind when I design the next one.
