I, too, want to try a disappearing nine patch. I hesitate since I have sooo many tops ready to quilt and that would be adding to the stack. But actually I preferring cutting and then making the blocks better than the quilting. I went to a link for the directions and saw that it is really simple. Now it'll be to decide on the fabs.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. Sorry for the delay, I have had serious issues with my laptop. Been infected with a blinking virus, that was playing havoc...but think I have sorted it :?

Your Mum is going to be SO thrilled with this Izy! It's just beautiful - you're lucky you're so far away or one of us might be tempted to sneak over to your house & "quilt-nap" it! :D

    Thanks Grammie2Twins... :-)

I couldn't have chosen a more fitting gift - Fuel bills are rising through the roof in the U.K. so she will need this to keep warm during the day, as she can't afford to use the heating

Thanks Cathe, I really enjoyed making this pattern, as the fabrics are so pretty and very soft to touch, it helped that it was charm packs, as it makes up very quick  I can't wait to see my Mum's face when she receives it :D
