    Modern 60's Quilt

My brother wanted a quilt in 60's colors - yellow, blue, green pastels and something modern....what a challenge! This quilt looked so easy in the McCall's Quick quilts....but it was not! It's actually for a king bed so it should look a lot better on the right size bed...lol. Lots of matching patterns and even the binding to accentuate the blocks. My friend quilted it and put a modern "D" in the middle for his last name. He will be here tonight so I hope he likes it! Thanks for looking!

I will pm you as soon as I find the copy. I made the blocks a while ago then I could not find the magazine. It is in my sewing room some where so I will have to let you know. Thanks.

I love it! The colors, the pattern ... sooooo groovy!!

It kinda reminds me of the TV set from the show "Laugh In".

If you haven't named it yet .... "Sock it to me" comes to mind

May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

I could not have said it better... Rowan and Martin would give it two thumbs up!
