    A modern baby quilt

I made this quick little baby quilt for a darling young couple that I sold a home to last fall. Their little boy was born earlier this month. I used Sharon Craig's layer em up book for the pattern. I made my own layer cake from leftover fabrics that I used in my crumb quilt backing, as I cut the squares for the backing I also cut 10 inch squares for my homemade layer cake.
