Wow, gorgeous! When I took a class from Laura Heine, she used a technique similar to that that she called the "painterly" technique. I really liked what she showed us and love your quilt.

This is appealing on so many different levels. I can't imagine working with all the little snippits of fabric. Laying them all down and hoping they don't shift or move before you have an opportunity to fuse them. Do you use a little mini iron? The results are so amazing, you almost tempt me to try, almost. I love how you detailed the process on your blog! Went straight there first to oogle at all the pics and see how you made this.
