    Default Modern Pickle Relish quilt

I have had this quilt pattern for maybe a year now, and with a younger cousin getting married, I jumped on this opportunity to use it. The pale blue is a favorite color of hers, or something close to it, at any rate. I may not have the exact shade she showed me but it's pretty close. Since the piecing is very minimal, I took advantage of the blank slate to have some quilting fun. I experimented with two new motifs; the poppy and the daisy-like flowers. It was so fun to let myself run amuck on the quilt and see what I could come up with! I enjoy free-style quilting, mistakes and all. It's how I have learned to come to grips with my perfectionism, believe it or not! Thanks for looking!

Thank you for sharing you pictures! I love it. I too enjoy free motion and free hand quilting and am also changing my style up and adding different motifs as well. You have given me more inspiration. Love it.
