That is beautiful. I didn't think I liked modern quilts until I made an Illusions quilt for one of my daughters (and it was all in neutral colors). I discovered a whole new world of quilting! Just a reminder to not close ourselves off to new ideas and adventures.

Your quilting is outstanding. I think if you continue to challenge yourself with filling up large spaces, you will quickly become more confident about where your design is headed. I know I was so intimidated by fmq, and almost gave up after my first attempt. It took 3 or 4 quilts before I started feeling remotely comfortable doing a simple loopy meander.

I really like that modern quilt & the pattern/colors you used in it. Well, I think you found "your thing" in the quilting of it. As much as I love free motion quilting, I still can't get the hang of it. Your daughter is going to love it!

Absolutely beautiful and sort of serene quilt! Your daughter is very lucky to get this and I am sure will treasure it for a long time. I love it! I like your pooch also. He/she is a cutie!
