What a wonderful quilt, and you did a great job. I'm sure your mom is smiling now and happy that you shared her love for Christ and Church with so many others through this quilt. Thanks for sharing her devotion to children and Christianity with us.

I love reading all the comments. It makes Momma live on and her testimony.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my quilt and comment.
The colorful border is across the top as well; but in this show, I had to place the hanging sleeve lower to keep the quilt off the floor. Show rules.
Susie Jackson is not on this board. She lives in Mississippi. I like to make it clear that I did not do the quilting.
I have another quilt on here from the quilt show - My Momma Sewed My Clothes, a quilt I made for my daughter.

Momma was the Vacation Bible School director for years, even in her eighties. After her death in 2006, I got her tee shirts that she had worn in the Bible school. This quilt hung in the Pine Belt Fiber Art & Quilt Show this past weekend. I am so happy to have finally completed it.
Quilting was done by Susie Jackson.
