A big thank you to your mom for sharing! A lovely yard. I'd like to sit a spell and visit with her!

Beautiful, but what does it have to do with quilting? This caption says pictures of quilts.

Absolutely beautiful! So glad you posted the pictures. This time of year, because of such short growing seasons in Wisconsin, I have to choose gardening over quitling, or at least share the time.

I think flower gardening and quilting have a lot in common. Mixing and matching colors, enjoying the creative process as well as the finished product, and shopping at quilt stores and gardenening centers can take hours, just appreciating and longing.

So I love sunny days when I can garden, and rainy days so I can sew.

How many of you quilters are also gardeners?

Tell Mom she has a beautiful yard. Out here you're lucky to grow anything.
